We preform glucose curves in office for our diabetic patients. It is important to preform glucose curves to make sure your pet is regulated on his/her insulin in order to prevent DKA or Diabetic Keto Acidosis or other complications from uncontrolled diabetes. We try to get 5 to 6 samples while your patient is spending the day with us in order to see the curve properly. After preforming the curve, we can then adjust insulin dosing as needed to keep your pet healthy.
