She graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and in Chemistry in 1985 before continuing on to Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1989. Since then her veterinary practice has taken her to Reston, Virginia, and then to Tuscaloosa and later Birmingham, where she worked in emergency veterinary medicine before moving to Georgia and practicing at Senoia Animal Hospital and Pet Resort.

Jill is married to Bill Sellers, and together they have raised two children, Chris and Laura and their four dogs. Her particular fields of interest are dermatology, ophthalmology and soft-tissue surgery. You can be sure that Jill will treat your pet as her own.

Kelly Alford, DVM

She returned to UGA to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2010. She also lent her services to East Coweta Veterinary Hospital from 2012 to 2013 before joining Senoia Animal Hospital and Pet Resort in 2014. Her primary focus is on soft tissue surgery, neurology and oncology. She has been a great addition to Senoia Animal Hospital and Pet Resort, winning over pets and pet parents alike with her expertise and kind and loving nature.

Kelly spends most of her free time horseback riding and spending time with family. Her pets include two dogs and two cats.

Heidi Lindsey, DVM

Dr. Heidi Lindsey is a 2017 graduate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She was trained in mixed animal medicine as she loves working with all species. Her childhood was filled with animals from baby squirrels to horses to many dogs and cats to visits to her uncle’s cattle farm. She was homeschooled from elementary through high school and attended Point University for her undergraduate studies. She grew up in the Peachtree City area and has loved coming back home to practice medicine.

Dr. Lindsey lives in Fayetteville with her husband Timothy, who graciously welcomes the many animals she brings home. In 2019, they welcomed their son Quin Turner. They love their two happy dogs, Peyton and Minnie, and their cat Rover. They love being outside and enjoy hiking and camping in the mountains with the dogs. You can also find them at their church, Living Faith Fellowship, serving on the music team. One of their favorite things about being in the South is football season. Go Dawgs!

A University of Kentucky alumnus, he then attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating cum laude in 1990. He soon began practicing with Dr. Daryl Rickard at the Animal Medical Center in Medina, Ohio, and then with Dr. David Selleck at Huntington Creek Animal Hospital upon moving to Fayette County in 1993. By 1995, Dr. Baggett was ready to start his own practice and opened Braelinn Animal Hospital, and has opened six more clinics to better serve the Greater Atlanta area. She and husband Robert Smallwood are the proud parents of son, Blake. They also have two dogs and some silly cats.

Jamila LaBeach
Veterinary Technician

I have been a member of the Senoia Animal Hospital team since 2016. However, I started working full time in 2017 as an assistant and then a veterinary technician after graduating from Southern Adventist University with a Bachelor in Biology. In the next few years, I plan on getting Associates in Veterinary Technology. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine and aspire to learn as much as I can in the field. Outside of work I enjoy reading, horseback riding, baking and traveling.

Melissa Elster
Veterinary Technician

Melissa began her journey in animal care over two decades ago when working closely with a professional trainer. Her passion for medicine and nursing came into focus as she started working as a volunteer for a small animal surgeon. She’s been a technician for over 16 years and is passionate about continuing to learn. Occasionally, you can catch her reminiscing about “The good ole’ days” when the techs would run uphill in the snow to get a fecal sample; we’re pretty sure she HAS done this at least once. Outside of work, she enjoys woodworking and painting, camping and kayaking.

I have recently decided to return to general practice and am glad to be back! At home, I have a boxer named Bristol, a fat old lady chihuahua named Mini, and a cat named Sonny who keep my life interesting.

Christine Garcia

Hey there! I was raised in South Florida, spent some time across the country, but life has its way of bringing you where you belong. I currently live in Senoia with my husband, Hafid, daughter Kayla and our two cats Bellatrix & Binx. In 2002 I received my degree in Medical Administration but never felt quite at home. I have been a part of the Animal field in some capacity since 2007 and couldn’t imagine doing anything else! I love being a mom to our miracle child, Kayla. I also enjoy spending time with my family, swimming in any body of water, and working on home projects. I’m a Harry Potter nerd and if you can’t find me, I’m more than likely at Disney.
